[THE ROLE]

What this work looks like

You'll build the platforms that let everyone else ship. At Vantir that means infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, and security defaults that hold up for client work and for early-stage ventures, without turning every repo into a science project.

The job is leverage: golden paths, paved roads, and the judgment to know when a founder needs a thin pipeline today and when a client needs a hardened platform.

What you'll do

Design and operate cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) with infrastructure as code as the source of truth.
Build CI/CD and environment promotion that engineers trust enough to use without a ticket.
Make observability and incident response a default: logs, metrics, traces, and alerts that mean something.
Raise the security baseline, identity, secrets, network, supply chain, without blocking delivery.
Sit with client and venture teams to unblock shipping, then leave them with something they can run.

What we're looking for

Production experience running cloud infrastructure and delivery platforms, not only writing Terraform in isolation.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent) and CI/CD you have actually operated.
Observability and reliability: you have diagnosed real incidents, not only designed dashboards.
Security-minded defaults: least privilege, secrets, and supply chain as part of the platform, not a later audit.
You enable other engineers; you don't become the gate.
Fluent with modern AI tooling for infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering.

Nice to have

Kubernetes or equivalent orchestration in anger, plus the taste not to use it when a simpler runtime wins.
Platform engineering or internal developer platform work.
Experience hardening environments for due diligence, regulated clients, or production ML and data workloads.
Consulting or multi-account / multi-tenant cloud.
